NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Council will consider a request for a Development Variance Permit under Zoning Bylaw No. 949, 2024, to accommodate the development of a new primary residence at 10721 Dudley Drive, Hudson’s Hope at the Regular Council Meeting on Wednesday, April 29, 2026, at 6:00 pm in Council Chambers.
The Applicant is seeking to vary the maximum accessory building height from 5 m to 7.3 m, and to vary the maximum floor area of an accessory building from 75 m² to 340 m2 to accommodate an addition to the existing structure. Currently, the building is used as the primary residence; once the new residence is built, the current residence will function as an accessory structure.
In addition, the Applicant is requesting to vary the to vary the maximum accessory building height from 5 m to 8.5 m, and to vary the maximum floor area of an accessory building from 75 m² to 223 m² to allow construction of a second auxiliary building.
Before making its decision, Council will hear from residents who feel they may be affected by the proposed application.
A copy of the proposed Development Variance Permit and related documents may be inspected at the District Office, located at 9904 Dudley Drive, Hudson’s Hope, B.C., between 8:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m., Monday to Friday, or online at www.hudsonshope.ca.
Residents who wish to provide comments on the proposed application may submit them in one of the following ways, no later than noon on Wednesday, April 29, 2026:

Written comments received will be distributed to Council for their consideration at the Council Meeting.
Those members of the public in attendance at the meeting will be allowed to make presentations to Council or to present written submissions respecting matters concerning the proposed variances.
