Obtaining a business licence in Hudson’s Hope is a quick and easy process. District Office staff offer one-on-one assistance to help you obtain a license.
Steps to Obtain a Business Licence
- A business licence application can be:
- completed online with the Business License Application Form
- obtained at the District Office
- or you can download a Printable Business Licence Application. Printed applications can be submitted to the District Office.
- Once submitted, the application must be approved before the business licence is issued.
- Once a licence is approved and the fee of $50 is paid, the licence will be issued to the applicant.
Typical application processing and approval takes 2 business days.
Licences are valid for one calendar year between January 1 and December 31. For licences issued after January 31, the District of Hudson’s Hope will pro-rate the licence fee for the remaining months of the year. A renewal invoice is sent out at the beginning of each year.
