Hudson’s Hope’s Community Wildfire Resiliency Plan (CWRP)

A CWRP is a strategic plan that identifies local wildfire risks and outlines practical actions to reduce those risks. It strengthens community resilience by integrating FireSmart principles into land-use planning, vegetation management, and public education.  The District of Hudson’s Hope’s Community Wildfire Resiliency Plan will create a comprehensive approach to wildfire, including risk reduction, and resiliency measures.  If approved, new funding will support local mitigation projects, including treatment in priority areas, as well as wildfire mitigation work for seniors.
