Cameron Lake Outdoor Education Site

The Cameron Lake Outdoor Education and Environmental Studies Center is owned by School District 60 and is available for use by all district staff, pupils and public where such uses are compatible with the outdoor education curriculum objectives.

The Center is located in a natural Boreal forest setting on the shore of Cameron Lake, 25km South of Hudson’s Hope on Highway 29.

The Center is suitable for a variety of events, such as private family rentals, weddings, banquets, reunions, paid events, camping, recreation and more.

In and surrounding the property are 27 km of hiking trails giving access to 3 accessible lakes.

11 km of the trails are designated as groomed cross-country ski trails. Cross-country ski trails are available for use by the public December and January. Visit the website for more information.
