Water Quality Advisory During Water Treatment Plant Upgrades
The District of Hudson’s Hope would like to advise residents that work is underway to transition from temporary rented equipment to the new installed equipment at the Water Treatment Plant.
During this transition, residents may notice:
- Temporary fluctuations in water pressure
- Minor changes in water clarity or appearance
The District will continue to monitor water quality throughout the transition and the water is expected to remain safe to drink.
As an added precaution, individuals who are immunocompromised, elderly, infants, or those with underlying health concerns may wish to boil their drinking water during this period.
If you notice sediment or discoloured water, running a cold water tap for several minutes may help clear your service line.
We appreciate your patience as we complete these upgrades and bring the new Water Treatment Plant equipment into service.
