SURPLUS EQUIPMENT FOR SALE BY SEALED BID
Rotary Four-Post Vehicle Hoist – FOR PARTS OR SCRAP ONLY

The District of Hudson’s Hope is accepting sealed bids for the sale of one surplus Rotary four-post vehicle hoist, Model SM122-1, Serial No. OAE97D0024.
IMPORTANT CONDITION NOTICE
The vehicle hoist is being sold for parts, salvage, or scrap purposes only. The hoist has been removed from service following inspections that identified significant corrosion and deterioration of the vehicle ramps.
The District does not represent or warrant that the hoist is safe, serviceable, repairable, certifiable, or suitable for lifting vehicles or for any other operational use. Any assessment, repair, modification, certification, dismantling, transportation, reuse, or disposal of the equipment following the sale is entirely the responsibility of the purchaser.
The successful bidder will be responsible for all costs and arrangements associated with loading, transportation, and disposal of the equipment. The purchaser must remove the equipment from District property within a timeframe acceptable to the District.
All items “as is, where is.” The highest or any bid may not necessarily be accepted. The District of Hudson’s Hope reserves the right in its sole discretion to reject any or all bids, or to accept a bid which is considered to be in the best interests of the District of Hudson’s Hope. The District of Hudson’s Hope may, but is not required to, waive any informality in a bid or to accept an irregular or incomplete bid.
Sale prices are deemed to include GST.
Bid Submission
Each bid must include:
- The bidder’s first and last name, or company name; and
- An appropriate contact method, being either a telephone number or email address.
Sealed bids must be received no later than:
November 18, 2026 at 3:00pm local time
