The Hudson’s Hope Aerodrome was built by BC Hydro in the early 1960’s. It was used commercially during the building of both the WAC Bennett Dam and the Peace Canyon Dam. Ownership of this airport was transferred to the municipality in the late 70’s. Over the years, private use of the airport has allowed a number of planes to be stored. The airport is maintained year round.
