The District of Hudson’s Hope enacts local bylaws that are the similar to provincial and federal laws. The bylaws are designed to make Hudson’s Hope an enjoyable, safe place to live and covers such topics as a noise, zoning, and animal control. In order for a bylaw to become law, it must go through three readings and approval.
Draft bylaws are discussed at Council meetings and are available for public inspection at the District office. Council welcomes input.
