Hudson's Hope Fire Rescue recently took delivery of a 2015 Freightliner water tender from Hub Fire Engines. This apparatus is equipped with a 1700 gallon water tank and will allow the department to effectively deliver firefighting water to those response areas which are outside of the hydranted areas of the District. This vehicle replaces a 1980 International which had served the community for a great number of years.
The apparatus will be stationed at the Beryl Prairie Fire Hall.
There will be an open house at the Beryl Prairie Fire Hall this evening from 6 pm to 8pm to allow residents to come in and have a look at the truck and speak to the fire fighters.
