Have your Say – Multi-Use Gathering Centre

An exciting new project is in the works for the District of Hudson’s Hope (District). Following the difficult decision to close the Community Hall earlier this fall, the District encourages the community to get involved and have their say about their vision for a unique Multi-Use Gathering Centre.

The District has launched a new online ‘Have Your Say’ platform to engage meaningfully with the community to understand what the community wants and values in a new Multi-Use Gathering Centre. The online engagement platform will act as a place for community interaction where residents can share insight into what features they would like to see incorporated into the project and be the trusted place to go for updates throughout the project.

A single registration gives participants full access to all online public engagement opportunities for the District of Hudson’s Hope. Registered users can tailor their preferences to receive notifications about topics that mean the most to them. The interactive and user-friendly site allows users to participate in different ways and stay updated throughout the lifetime of a project.

The first phase of the Multi-Use Gathering Centre engagement process is now open. After this first stage of information gathering and community engagement, the consultant will begin developing concepts and plans, which will be brought back to the community for further input later in the process.
