Truth and Reconciliation Week 2024

This week, as we observe Truth & Reconciliation Week, we come together to recognize the importance of acknowledging our shared history and the pain endured by Indigenous communities. Truth invites us to confront these realities and listen to Indigenous stories, while reconciliation calls for healing and a commitment to understanding and collaboration among all peoples. We encourage everyone to engage with educational resources, support Indigenous businesses, and reflect on their roles in fostering a more just and inclusive society. Together, we have the power to create meaningful change.

Please note that the District Office will be closed on September 30th in observance of Truth and Reconciliation Day. Let us take this time to reflect on our commitments to reconciliation and the continuing journey toward healing.
